Obituary for Brad Cowling
Brad Cowling, 57, of West Salem, Illinois passed away peacefully on November 7, 2017 at his residence surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born on July 24, 1960 in Mount Carmel, IL the son of Donald and Shirley (Ervin) Cowling, Sr.   Brad was a true outdoorsman.  He loved hunting, fishing and spending time on the river.  Brad worked in construction as a land surveyor.  This was a job that he was very proud of and made many friendships throughout his working career.  His family was very special to him and he treasured the time he spent with them.  Brad loved animals especially his dog Peanut.  Brad will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Brad will be remembered by his three sisters, Carolyn Snidle of Crystal City, MO, Vicki Jessup of Springfield, IL and Sandra (Ed) Kramer of Damiansville, IL; sister in law, Kathy Cowling of Princeton, IN; his aunt and caregiver, Nancy Cowling of West Salem, IL; along with several nieces and nephews. Brad was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Cowling, Jr and niece, Amy Kramer. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Browns Cemetery with Pastor Gavin Bellinger officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Brad’s memory to Southeastern Hospice, 800 E Locust St, Olney, IL 62450.  Memorial Contributions can be mailed directly to them or to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 N.
