WHERE LIFE & MEMORIES ARE HONOREDMark D. Crouch, 53, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Meadowbrook Skilled Nursing and Rehab, in Grayville, Illinois, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 8, 1969, in Mount Carmel, the son of Richard F. and Carol Jean (Dicus) Crouch.
Mark worked in the oilfields most of his life. He also was a custodian at the VFW which he considered his home away from home, and he treasured the many friendships made there. In his spare time, Mark loved fishing on the Wabash River and mushroom hunting. He had a love of animals, especially his dogs. Mark was a momma’s boy who loved being with his family. He was a member of the VFW and Eagles. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Mark leaves behind mother, Carol Jean Crouch; brothers, Roger Crouch and wife Robin, Richard Crouch and wife Debbie; one sister, Leona York; many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mark was preceded in death by his father.
In keeping with Mark’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the VFW at a later date.
