Obituary for Clyde Lenard Doyle
Clyde Lenard Doyle, 88, of Princeton, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, Scenic Hills Nursing Home in Ferdinand, Indiana, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on June 12, 1933, the son of Oscar and Pearl (Wells) Doyle. He married Maxine Baker in 1982 and they have enjoyed forty years together.

Clyde faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion Post 25 in Princeton, IN, and a Life Member of the VFW Post 1114 in Evansville, IN. He attended Lindsay Wilson College in Kentucky. Clyde worked for Sears for a number of years and owned and operated the Sears Catalog Store in Mount Carmel, Illinois. He was a member of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Club. Clyde will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Clyde leaves behind his loving wife, Maxine; five children, Barrett (Jan) Doyle, Vanessa (Steve) Kohlmeier, Gena Swift, Stephen (Tami) Hack, Deborah (Ray) Wolfe; fifteen grandchildren, Kaytlyn Gray, Christian Doyle, Corbin Doyle, Colson Doyle, Kannan Horton, Karman Doyle, Caedmon Doyle, Seth Doyle, Samantha Jordan, Heath Kohlmeier, Haley Kidd, Dylan Swift, Dakota Mason, Edwin Roman, Raymond Cintron; and nine great-grandchildren.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lily Doyle, Beulah Doyle; one brother, Dennis Doyle.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 07, 2022, at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Mark Richison officiating. Full Military Honors will be conducted to honor Clyde’s service to his country.

Memorial contributions may be made in Clyde’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Envelopes will be at the cemetery or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
