Obituary for Robert L. "Bud" Lewis III
Robert L. “Bud” Lewis III, 76, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on February 28, 2020 at his residence. He was born on December 29, 1943 in Indiana, the son of Robert and Helen (Zirkelbach) Lewis. Bud worked in the oilfield as a pumper for many years and made many friendships. In recent years, Bud also worked at Rural King Supply in Mount Carmel. Bud will be remembered by all who knew him. Bud will be remembered by his son, Frank Erhard; and many special friends. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Frank Lewis. In keeping with Bud’s wishes, he was cremated and no formal service will be held.
