Obituary for Violet L. Young
Violet L. Young, 72, of Mount Carmel, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her residence surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on March 29, 1944 in Wabash County, IL the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Hoover) Hutton.
Violet was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a very happy person who treasured her time she spent with those that were close to her. She was very fond of her family and friends. She was of Christian faith and was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Albion, IL. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
Violet will be remembered by four sons, Tony Byrns, Jerry Byrns and Johnny Byrns all of Mount Carmel, Allen Byrns of Oakland City, IN; four daughters, Alice (Todd) Smith of Swayzee, IN, Janet Byrns, Nancy Byrns and Vickie Byrns of Mount Carmel; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; brothers, Clarence Hutton of Mount Carmel, Bill (Gwen) Hutton of Fort Branch, IN and Charlie Hutton of Mount Carmel; sisters, Frances (Harry) Williams of Mount Carmel and Sharon Frayser of Albion, IL; many loved nieces and nephews.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mildred Deline; brothers, Junior, Noble, Jerry and Richard Hutton along with two infant brothers.
A Memorial Service will he held to honor the life of Violet at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Free Methodist Church, 118 South 7th Street, Albion, IL with Pastor Neal Hartzell officiating . A Celebration of Life will also be held at 1:00 p.m., March 26, 2017 at the Shelter House in Bellmont, IL to honor the life of Violet. Family and friends are invited to attend.
