Obituary for Tony Gayle Dardeen
Tony Gayle Dardeen, 74, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on January 7, 1945 in Wabash County, Illinois, the son of Charles and Schola (Southers) Dardeen.  He married Judy Ingle on October 22, 1966 and together they enjoyed fifty-two years of marriage. Tony Faithfully served his Country in the United States Army where he served during Vietnam. He loved his family and his grandchildren held a very special place in his heart.  He loved being outdoors and working on his farm.  When Tony’s boys were younger, he loved coaching their little league teams.  Tony was employed at Snap-on for thirty-six years where he made many friendships.  Among his hobbies he also enjoyed spending time with friends bowling.  He will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Tony will be remembered by his loving wife, Judy of Mount Carmel; two sons, Kerry (Miriam) Dardeen of Brookston, IN and Kelly Dardeen of Lamar, CO; three grandchildren, Brent, Brandon and Daiquiri; and one sister, Taunya Dardeen.  Tony was preceded in death by his parents. In keeping with Tony’s wishes he will be cremated and no formal services will be held at this time. Tony’s family would like to give a special thank you to all of their neighbors for there willingness to always lend a helping hand. Keepes Funeral Home is serving the family with the arrangements.  To view Tony’s tribute wall and leave condolences for the Dardeen family, please visit www.keepesfuneralhome.com.
