Obituary for Ronald J Odom
Ronald J Odom, 65, of Browns, Illinois, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at home, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 11, 1957, in Carmi, Illinois, the son of William and Estel (Goldman) Odom. He married Mary Feldman on July 21, 2006, and together they have enjoyed fifteen years of marriage.

Ron was employed by Snap-On-Tools for many years. He currently was working for Ryder Integrated Logistics in Princeton, Indiana. In his spare time, Ron liked to hunt and fish. He enjoyed working on cars, and fixing things that needed some attention. Ron loved his whole family dearly. Spending time with his wife and grandchildren was especially enjoyable to him. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Ron leaves behind his loving wife, Mary; daughters, Jennifer Norbeck and husband Tim of Taylorville, IL, Ronja Campbell and husband Kevin of Grayville, IL; son, Jeremy Hardy of Browns, IL; grandchildren, Laney and Owen Norbeck, Blake and Samuel Campbell, Alexus, and Devon Hardy; brothers, David (Margaret) Odom, Eddie (Laura) Odom; brothers-in-law, Augie, Kelly, and Henry Feldman; sister-in-law, Tracy Rigel; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends whom he loved dearly.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; infant son; brother, William (Billy) Odom, twin brother, Donald Odom; sister, Myrtle Rose Odom.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2022, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ron’s memory to Wabash County Animal Shelter Buddies. Envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
