Obituary for Rockwell "Rocky" E. Bradley
Rockwell E. “Rocky” Bradley, 68, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on November 24, 1950 in Harrisburg, Illinois, the son of Doyle Bradley Sr., and Mildred (Dalton) Bradley. Rocky married Diane Smith on August 24, 1974 in Mount Carmel and she survives. Rocky was employed through Carpenters Local #546 for more than forty years before retiring. He loved to be outdoors. Hunting with his grandsons and coaching baseball for them was among his favorite activities. Rocky was a fun-loving guy and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rocky was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed. Rocky will be remembered by his loving wife of forty-four years, Diane; daughter Tammy Bradley; grandsons, Hunter Tice, Bradley Tice and Emery Trost; brother, Doyle (Connie) Bradley; and many nieces and nephews. Rocky was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vic Bradley. Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Funeral Home with Father Bill Rowe officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Rocky’s memory to WRAC (Wabash Rally Against Cancer) or the Mount Carmel Little League program.
