Phyllis Ann Blair
Phyllis Ann Blair, 76, of Princeton, IN passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her residence. She was born on July 24, 1940 in Wabash County, IL the daughter of Harland and Mildred (Seibert) Hall. She was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School Class of 1958. Phyllis married Eugene Blair on November 8, 1963 and he preceded her in death on December 28, 2003.
Phyllis was a caring mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her world and she treasured her time she spent with them. She had a smile and a hug for everyone she met. Phyllis worked for Old National Bank for over forty years as a mortgage lender where she made many friendships. She attended the Free Methodist Church in Mount Carmel and after she moved attended Hillside Methodist Church in Princeton, IN. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Phyllis will be remembered by her son, Eugene L. Blair II and wife Staci of Newburgh, IN; daughter, Kristi Hubbard and husband Shane of Haubstadt, IN; three grandchildren, Halen Blair, Devin Blair and Sydney Hubbard; brother in law, Harry Wheatley of Missouri; sister in law, Ersel Hall of Illinois; special friend, Jim Berry of Mount Carmel; many loved nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; two sisters, Marjorie Stewart and Sylvia Wheatley; three brothers, Donald Hall, Galen Hall and Robert Hall.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Deron Colgan officiating. Burial will follow at Allendale Cemetery in Allendale, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis’ memory to Relay for Life, 4503 W. DeYoung Suite 200C, Marion, IL 62959. Envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
