Obituary for Norman Keith Miller
Norman Keith Miller, 84, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on October 8, 1932 in Wabash County, IL the son of James and Mary (Saulmon) Miller.  Norman married Sandra Thomas on April 2, 1966 and they enjoyed fifty one years of marriage.  Norman and Sandra treasured the time they spent with their family and grandchildren.    Norman faithfully served his Country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.  He was very patriotic and loved his Country.  Norman and Sandra enjoyed visiting Civil War Memorials.  He was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School Class of 1950.  Norman loved being outdoors, fishing and camping with family.  He worked at Snap on Tools for close to forty years. He will be missed by his family and friends. Norman will be remembered by his wife, Sandra Miller of Mount Carmel; two sons, Danny Miller of Chandler, IN and Keith (Debbie) Miller of Bridgeport, IL; daughter, Michelle Camden of Oakland City, IN; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; brothers, Wayne (Mary Ann) Miller and Tom Miller both of Mount Carmel; sister, Helen (Don) Lucas of West Salem, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Norman was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bob, Charlie, William, David, Judy, Jeanette and Mary Catherine. In keeping with Norman’s wishes he will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date at Augusta Cemetery in Augusta, IN. Keepes Funeral Home is serving the family with the arrangements.  To view Norman’s tribute wall and leave condolences for the Miller family, please visit
