Obituary for Norma Kleinschmidt
Norma Kleinschmidt, 73, of Mount Carmel, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at her residence with her loving husband by her side.
She was born on December 16, 1942 in Grayville, IL, the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret (Tupper) McNew. Norma married Glenn Klienschmidt on April 14, 1973 at the Hope Lutheran Church in Mount Carmel. Together they enjoyed forty two years of marriage.
Norma was a homemaker and loved cooking for family and friends. Among Norma’s hobbies she enjoyed mushroom hunting, playing bingo and crocheting. She was of Christian faith and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Kleinschmidt; son, Allen Kleinschmidt of Haubstadt, IN; sister, Beverly Deisher. Norma was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Anita McNew.
In keeping with Norma’s wishes she will be cremated. A Graveside Service for Norma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2016 at St. John Cemetery in Wabash County, IL with Pastor Tom Kramer officiating.
