Obituary for Larry K. White
Larry K. White, 75, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at his residence surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 7, 1947 in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the son of Ed and Betty (Cash) White. He married Barbara Bray on February 14, 1970. Larry and Barbara enjoyed fifty-two years of marriage centered around their family.
Larry will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. Along with his family, Larry enjoyed going on camping trips with one of their favorite camp sites in New Harmony, Indiana. Larry enjoyed his work at Snap On Tools for thirty-five years where he made many friendships. In his free time, Larry enjoyed listening and attending country music concerts. He also loved classic cars. Larry was a member of Albion Church of Christ. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Larry will be remembered by his loving wife, Barbara White of Mount Carmel; son, Larry (Devonee) White; daughter, Brittany White; two grandchildren, Ashlyn White, and Jesiah Sloss; brother, Roger (Vicki) White; sister, Judy Nettleton; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Kay Walters.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Vernon Higginson officiating.
