Obituary for Joshua Josiah "Josh" Hadra
Joshua Josiah “Josh” Hadra, 22, of Murray, Kentucky formerly of Mount Carmel, Illinois was tragically taken from this life on Saturday, September 23, 2017.  He was born on August 2, 1995 in Petersburg, Indiana the son of Brad (Shelli) Hadra and Crystal Naney.  Josh attended school in Mount Carmel until his senior year and graduated from Calloway County High School Class of 2013. Josh will always be remembered for his cheerful personality and his smile. He loved to cook and one of his dreams was to attend culinary school.  He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Cubs.  He also enjoyed watching the New Orleans Saints who won their first game of the season the day after Josh passed.  Josh loved to go for long rides and listen to music.  He was always up for an adventure, traveling where he enjoyed taking trips to the ocean.   Josh will be remembered by his mother, Crystal Naney of Carmi, IL; father, Brad (Shelli) Hadra of Mount Carmel; siblings, Jeremiah Malone of Murray, KY, Derrick Hadra, Elijah Hadra, Isaiah Hadra, Zeke Hadra all of Mount Carmel, Justine Cox of Murray, KY and Cherise (Devin) Stoll of Mount Carmel; maternal grandmother, Vickie Naney of Murray, KY; paternal grandmother, Rita Thacker of Mount Carmel; aunts and uncles, Trina (Chris) Dunkel, Nathan Naney, Darrel Hadra, Dan (Sara) Hadra, Steve (Holly) Hadra, Glenn (Judy) Frichtl, Tim (Heather) Thacker and Cassie (Brian) Schneider; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.  Josh will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Naney and Freda Collins; paternal grandparents, Stanley and Violet Hadra; and step grandfather, Richard Thacker. Family and friends are invited to gather from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017 at Jacob’s Well Church, 5 Southgate Dr, Mount Carmel, IL 62863. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Church.  Burial will follow at Harrison Cemetery in Lancaster, IL. Memorial contributions may be made in Josh’s memory to Keepes Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.  Envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863. Keepes Funeral Home is serving the family with the arrangements.  To view Josh’s tribute wall, leave condolences and purchase flowers for the Hadra family, please visit www.KeepesFuneralHome.com.
