Obituary for Glenn E. Schrader
Glenn E. Schrader, 80, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN.  He was born March 28, 1937 in Vincennes, Indiana the son of Frank M. and H. Evangeline (Leek) Schrader. He graduated from St. Francisville High School.   Glenn married Mary Katherine Hering on August 8, 1959.  Glenn’s working career was in electronics sales. He attended four years of college at Eastern Illinois University. Glenn was an avid sports fan and a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Glenn loved all genres of music. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Glenn will be remembered by his wife of fifty eight years, Mary Schrader of Mount Carmel; children, Glynnis Fisher of Mesa, AZ and Karla Schrader of Mount Carmel, IL Michael (Susan) Schrader of Knoxville; one granddaughter, Melissa Fisher. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Richison officiating.  A private family burial will follow at St. Sebastian Catholic Cemetery in Wabash County, Illinois. Family and friends may gather for a Memorial Visitation from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Glenn’s memory to Heart to Heart Hospice, 415 E. 6th Street, Jasper, IN 47546 or to the Wabash County Animal Shelter Buddies, 11336 N. 1550 Blvd, Mount Carmel, IL 62863. Envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 N.
