Obituary for Gerald W. Love
Gerald W. Love, 78, of Bellmont, IL went to be with his blessed Lord Monday, January 23, 2017 at River Oaks Heath Campus in Princeton, IN. He was born on July 10, 1938 in Louisville, KY the son of Lawrence T. and Muriel (Sinnett) Love. Gerald married Beverly Blair on November 3, 1995 and together they enjoyed twenty one years of marriage.
He was a retired union electrician and a member of Local 16 electrical union in Evansville, IN. Gerald was also a member of Utica Masonic Lodge and Utica Baptist Church in Utica, KY. Gerald was a true southern gentleman who had a great love for his family, people and life. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Gerald will be remembered by his loving wife, Beverly Love of Bellmont, IL; daughters, Sheree Stone and Beverly (Darrell) Mitchell of Jacksonville, FL; step daughters, Emily (Jeff) Claywell of Bellmont, Laura Harrell of Maryville, TN and Angela King of St. Louis, MO; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen greatgrandchildren; brother, L.T. Love of Walla Walla, WA; two very dear friends, John and David Hardwick of Bellmont, IL.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William and Donald Love; and sister, Marilyn Wedding.
In keeping with Gerald’s wishes he will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at Elliott Cemetery in Toledo, IL at a later date.
The family request that memorial contributions be made in Gerald’s memory to a charity of your choice.
