Obituary for Cory L. Hoffman
Cory L. Hoffman, 47, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at his residence. He was born on April 17, 1973 in Mount Carmel, the son of Greg and Patty (Parson) Hoffman. Cory was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School Class of 1991. Cory loved cookouts with family and also enjoyed his time he could be on the water fishing. He was a huge North Carolina Tarheels fan. Cory loved the time he spent at the gym working out with his brother and also staying active riding his bike. Cory worked at Toyota where he made many friendships. He attended Heartland Worship Center in Mount Carmel. Cory will be forever missed by his family and friends. Cory will be remembered by his son, Gage Hoffman of Bellmont; parents, Greg and Patty Hoffman of Bellmont; brother, Kyle Hoffman and wife Jamie of Mount Carmel; paternal grandmother, Marlene Hoffman; two nieces, Brianna and Brittany Hoffman; many loved aunts, uncles and cousins. Cory was preceded in death by his, maternal grandparents, John and Norma Parson; and paternal grandfather, Orville “Bud” Hoffman. Due to the current COVID 19 mandated restrictions, we are unable to provide the type of service that Cory deserves. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, Illinois. Keepes Funeral Home is serving the family with the arrangements.
