Charlie volunteered his time with the Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt and the Punt Pass and Kick events.  He had a love for animals and his dog, Luna was special to him. He and Jeri enjoyed camping trips and spending time with their children and grandchildren.  Charlie was a caring and kind man and will be missed by all who knew him.  Charlie leaves behind his loving wife of forty-five years, Jeri; one son, Charles Parr II “Chuck” and wife Mallory; three daughters, Margaret Ann Parr and husband Tony Drew, Michelle Nembhard and husband Michael, Kristal Stamm and husband Ben; grandchildren, Christopher and wife Paige, Shanne, Isaiah, Isabella, Claudia, Carson and Camilla; one great grandchild, Aaden; three brothers, Bill, Don and Bob Parr; and life-long friend, Jim Pfeister. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Margaret Parr.  Family and friends may gather for a Memorial Visitation from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 13, 2021, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.  Prior to the start of Visitation, Charlie will be honored by the local Military Honor Guard, with full Military Honors. In accordance with the recommendation of the CDC and the IDPH, masks will be required.   In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Charlie’s memory to Wabash County Animal Shelter Buddies.  Envelopes will be at the funeral home or may be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mt.
