Obituary for Brenda C. McClellan
Brenda C. McClellan, 68, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, at home. She was born on September 4, 1953, in Mount Carmel, the daughter of Paul R. and Barbara E. (Yarbrough) McClellan.  Brenda was a member of the 1973 Graduating Class of Mount Carmel High School. She worked as a security guard at Toyota Manufacturing in Gibson County, Indiana. In her spare time, Brenda really enjoyed fishing. Her favorite hobby was artistic painting which brought her great joy. She was a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and dearly loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Brenda was a member of Heartland Worship Center. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Brenda leaves behind her mother, Barbara McClellan; son, Jason Wallace; daughter, Stacy Belinki; five grandchildren; brother, Randy McClellan and wife, Maria Rodriguez; sisters, Kathy Sutton and husband, Mike, Debbie Miller and husband, Keith; several nieces, nephews; two great nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Paul McClellan, and stepmother, Joan McClellan. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Hodgson officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Bellmont, Illinois. Family and friends may gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.  Social distancing, wearing of face coverings and use of hand sanitizer is recommended.  Keepes Funeral Home is serving the family with the arrangements. To view Brenda’s tribute wall, leave condolences and purchase flowers for the McClellan family, please visit www.KeepesFuneralHome.com.
