Obituary for Barbara L. Moore
Barbara L. Moore, 64, of Albion, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Aperion Care in Fairfield, Illinois. She was born on January 23, 1957 in San Juan, Texas, the daughter of Louis and Lila Mae (Thrapp) Davis. Barbara married Danny R. Moore in the summer of 1977 and together they enjoyed thirty-eight years of marriage before his passing on May 19, 2016. Barbara loved her family and treasured her time she was able to spend with them. Among her hobbies, Barbara loved watching her grandson, Tanner play baseball and cheering her other grandchildren on in their different activities. Barbara loved being able to go and play bingo with family and friends. She was a huge Mount Carmel Golden Aces fan and loved keeping up with the different sports. Barbara also enjoyed being outdoors, mushroom hunting and fishing. She loved animals, especially her dog, Olivia. Barbara will be missed by her family and all who knew her.    Barbara will be remembered by her three sons, Bobby Moore of Albion, IL, Daniel Moore of Oakland City, IN and Chris (Amanda) Moore of Mount Carmel; grandchildren, Tanner Ray Moore, Brooklyn Michelle Moore, Mathew Ray Moore and Katylynn Marie Moore; great grandson, Othello; sisters, Janet Hawf of Colorado, Linda Meier of Indianapolis. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Danny R. Moore. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes no formal services will be held at this time and cremation rites will take place. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Graceland Cemetery in Albion, IL where Barbara will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Danny R.
