Obituary for Audrey June Lance
Audrey June Lance, 87, of Bellmont, IL passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at her residence.
She was born on May 14, 1928 in Bellmont, IL the daughter of Alvin and Beulah (Mills) Berberich. Audrey married Leonard Lance and he preceded her in death in 2006. Also preceding Audrey in death are her parents; one brother; three sisters; and one grandson, Matthew Lance.
Audrey was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed being outdoors sitting in her yard visiting with neighbors, friends and bird watching. Audrey was a true sports fan cheering on the Indianapolis Colts football team and the Indianapolis Pacers basketball team. Born and raised in Bellmont, Audrey was proud of her town. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her three sons, Doug (Mona) Lance of Henderson, KY, Gary (Ruth Ann) Lance of Live Oak, TX and Greg (Rita) Lance of Blue Grass IA; one daughter, Janice Lance of Bellmont; grandchildren, Lisa Ray, Stephanie Powell, Jason and Kevin Lance, Jennifer Labrozzi and April Neafus; fourteen great grandchildren; and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Audrey’s wishes she will be cremated and no formal services will be held at this time.
